Automobiles in German Town Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Local Police
Police reported they were alerted by a man who discovered a vehicle in Hanau marked with red-colored fluid

Around fifty automobiles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Vehicles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they stated in a statement.

Officers state they were notified during the night on Wednesday evening, when a individual discovered that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish fluid.

The liquid had been drawn in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Officers then discovered numerous other smeared vehicles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation banning the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police say initial examinations indicate the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to its origin; investigators are not yet aware of any injuries in association with the occurrence," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the residents for details.

An important representative said the vandalism left him without words and had to be addressed promptly.

"This incident strikes at the core of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the extremist attack in 2020," he wrote on social media, referring to the killing of nine victims by a assailant focusing on residents of migrant background in February 2020.
